IPad 3 release date March 2012 – Welcome to the 2012 rumourmill. Once again, the iPad3 rumours are beginning and the latest is from DigiTimes* suggesting that the iPad3 was already in production, with Pegatron Technology one of the major iPad manufacturers already producing the iPad3.
The new iPad3 is expected to feature state of the art screens, 4g technology and more memory.
On top of this an unnamed source from one of Apple’s manufacturing partners in Asia said production began at the start of this monthaccording to Bloomberg reports.
Website iLounge’s Jeremy Horwitz reported that the iPad 3 shell was also shown to him backstage at CES in Vegas. The site stated in relation to the difference between the iPad2 to the iPad3; “these changes are so modest that Apple could easily call this device the “iPad 2S” or “iPad 2HD” if it wanted to start the lettering game with its tablets. The screen and other major internal changes could collectively justify the “iPad 3” moniker, but we’ll see.”
So let the 2012 Apple rumourmill begin, get ready to hear more rumours about the Apple TV, iPhone 5 and of course iPad3. Expect Apple to officially say very little!

TechCrunch are now on board, with reports that they feel the release will aslo be March 2012 for the iPad3 (or iPad2s or ??).
