Asus eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700

Yes, Asus have already got an updated version if their Transformer series tablet ready to go.  The TF201 Tegra 3-based hybrid tablet just started shipping, so those who ordered one may feel a little ripped off that its successor the TF700 is not far from release.

The TF700 improved specs include:

  •  1080p panel, 10.1-inch 1920×1200 screen
  • 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3
  • 8-megapixel front and 2-megapixel back facing cameras
  • 32 GB or 64GB of memory
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Novo 7 Basic and Paladin

The cheapest Android Tablets on the market that will run Android 4.0 IceCream Hands the AiNovo Novo7 Paladin and Novo7 Basic retail for under $100.

Evolve III Maestro S Windows 7 tablet

Evolve III an Australian based company are hoping that the multi-boot tablet with a dual core Intel Atom Oak Trail processor will be released later in 2012.  The tablet will be released as a switchable device with Android, MeeGo or Windows 7 operating systems.

Expected specs:

  • Battery life 10 hrs
  • 1.5GHz processer
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB or 64GB model.
  • Full 1080p HD video playback
  • 1.3MP front facing camera
  • Wi-fi and Bluetooth.
  • 3G and GPS optional
  • two USB ports, a micro SD slot , HDMI port.

Expected to retail at around $800.
